Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Where the wrenches attach to remove the line to replace the filter were completely rounded off and I had to cut the line.

if you are talking about the hard line that runs under the car, you can buy generic fuel line and attach it beside the old one- why did you cut the old one? you might have been able to regroove the threads-

I too agree with the previous poster...another option is check with your local savage auto yard in an attempt to locate a like vehicle..GOOD LUCK SEMPER FI

It wasn't the threads. it was the flat planes that the wrench grips at the carb.(They had been rounded off and there was no other way to remove it.) It's not the line under the car. It's the hard line running from the pump behind the AC compressor to the front of the carb. No yards in this area have any. Found one via a guy out in NM. Thanks for the reply. :D
