2003 Ford focus 2.0

OK I have a 2003 Ford focus I just bought froma
friend at work he had replaced the battery and the  
alternator said the battery was sizzling like the
alternator may have been putting out too many
amps second time he put a battery in it brand new
same thing I buy it from him cheap !!!!  like in the
old school days I unplug the positive on the
battery to see if it would  still run  it Hesitated for a
second and cut off Anybody have any ideas for
what would make the battery sizzle !!! Now the car
will not start but like I blew a fuse but I have
checked them out

Dude you have a major short, the fuses may be fine but you could have burnt the main computer (ECM) If I were you get your money back it's not worth the time and money or your car will look like this soon !
