MY dodge stealth will not kick over, it just acts like the battery is dead or the connections are bad

the car sat up for 10 years before i came along no one baught it because there was a
small tick in the motor which after listing to it i assumed it was bad oil or lifters. either
was simple. it had a lil old gas in it. but not much.  that was a no no and i know that,
but i spent 2,000 on a transmission to be rebuilt with non stock parts. so i could get
this beast up and running. well this is the 2nd day i have had  it back. before i sent it to
the guy for the tranny. it started up and ran fine just wouldnt get out of 1st and 2nd
gear. but now sense iv gotten it back it wont start, it acts as if the battery is dead. but
isnt, or a connection is bad. but i just put new terminals on it,

sounds like he probably pinched the wire harness between the bell housing and the block when he put the transmission in,, happened to me on my stealth RT

Also check the negative battery cable on the frame and motor. These cars are funny about their ground connections.
