My car has been having issues with the air intake, it sputters a lot. I've taken it in a few times and they finally figured out that the computer needs to be reprogrammed. What is this called?

Asked by Craig Sep 09, 2015 at 09:01 PM about the 2013 Nissan Sentra SV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm trying to see if I'm covered on the
warranty for this. Everything is stock
on the car, I've done every routine
maintenance to keep it in pristine
condition. They're calling it an
adjustment which isn't covered by
my warranty, but I think they're just
telling me whatever they want
because I'm a girl, this is my first car
from a dealership, and I'm too nice.
Knowledge is power in this situation
and the more I go in knowing the
more likely it will be that I can get
this figured out.

did you buy it new at the dealer?? >http://www.cars.com/nissan/sentra/2013/standard-equipment

I bought it used from the dealer, before I had it it was a rental car. I have two warranties on it as well, the dealerships and an extended one
