I have a 2003 Ford Excursion which was damaged at a Walmart service center. My husband went in for a front tire rotation and balance and the technician dropped it off of the lift. It damaged the drivers door. We only had the vehicle for one week. After a few days, we noticed that our electric components weren't working as well as the A/C and heating. Once we relocated the next week we had the problem diagnosed and had to get the ECM replaced. Therefore, my question is, could that incident have contributed to my ECM malfunctioning. Even if it was going to eventually go bad, could that incident have contributed to that? And also, shouldn't the adjuster have had a certified mechanic to diagnose any and all issues underneath the vehicle as well to check out frame damage or any other related damage?

I would document everything and ask WM to pay for it. If you don't feel the adjuster did a good job have a shop do a thorough investigation and then present their findings to WM.
