Engine swap

Hello I have a quick question i have a 89
Ford Festiva LX and i was wondering if you
can help put a list of engines that could
possibly be swapped and im also curious if
i could but a hond b16a1 engine in the
festiva.

You can put a blown 426 Hemi in it with enough money. A Honda engine could be put in it if you have an extra 20 grand laying around. The engine you have in it now is the only logical choice. Check junk yards for a good used one.

swapping to honda would be much more complex than sticking to mazda b-series engines. go to www.fordfestiva.com and register and start in the new members forum, hit everyone up with the info above, then start reading the stickies. Tell them Walth sent you. There is an enormous amount of helpful info on the forum. I'm not as familiar with swapping carb cars.. that might require parts of the efi harness and ecu, etc. HTH
