battery runs dead

Thanks. I am almost certain it is a parasitic draw, I am hoping there is one particular such draw common to the truck model to narrow things down. Battery only runs dead when sitting, has plenty of juice and is healthy, and corrosion builds up on the terminals, which I perceive as a sign of a constant draw on the power.

Same problem with my 2019, did not have it with my 2011...dealership service desk replaced the battery finally under warranty...over last summer was ok, now it's cold again...happened again...don't run it much...haul boat in summer...service desk says the various computer systems onboard draw down battery if not run frequently....apparently this is an inherent problem in their system...what good is a truck that can't sit for two weeks without a dead battery?? Am going to be a pain in their ass soon about this one...friend suggests a larger alternator and bigger battery as solutions...of course, not cheap! I doubt seriously if your truck has a flaw...they were made this way...somebody screwed up at Toyota and we need to raise enough hell to get them to fix it!

Thanks for all the info...only problem...my truck sits outside and I don't want an electric cord running outside, under the garage door and down the drive because I back into the drive. When I go to a fishing camp in Canada and park my truck at the launch to return over a week later, I would like to believe my truck will start...no matte who makes it or what their excuse is! Bad engineering is bad engineering...they know this problem exists, the battery should be able to sustain the draw for at least a month. But thanks for the info, will take it with me when I go to Toyota to go "postal" on them. Have had three Tundras in a row...02, 11, and now 19 and I love the trucks, but, "this' problem is not acceptable and a nuisance.
