Does 2013 Honda Pilot have 4wd hi/low?

I just bought a used 2013 Pilot with 4wd. I know it has 4wd, but i'm kind of
confused how it works. I've driven a Nissan Xterra for the last 17 years and the
4wd system was different.

The Pilot is AWD. The Xterra is a real 4x4.

correct, so no driver input. The pilot is a FWD vehicle till wheel slippage is detected and the vehicle will put power to the rear wheels based on inputs from the ABS wheel sensors on all four sides. HTH's
