my 03 escape stalls from park to drive or reverse, not all the time, after fully warmed up. no check engine light. IAC was replaced but still the same. starts up fine after stall. will not stall when cold its on high idle then. everyone has a lot of it could be this and that..

Have you scanned it with a scanner that can access the transmission? transmission codes are not always picked up the a regular OBDII scanner

Another thing is possible build up of carbon in the EGR system, that requires removal of the EGR and a lot of time with a heavy pipe cleaner style brush scrubbing the tube clear

I passed on to my mechanic about scanning trans and there is a code but has not told me what it was this is what he said "I can see if my guy has a flash update for the code that is in there" Billydsr
