I own a 1994 Dodge Spirit that will only use the top half of the fuel tank. I was wondering if there is a problem with the pick up tube in the tank? Also how hard is the pick up tube to change. can I access the fuel tank from the trunk?

Tank needs to be dropped, may need new tank bands, and replace the fuel sending unit/float . Don't know ir they have an outside fuel pump or not. You'll need a new tank gasket when replace the float as well. Be carefull if there are rusted lines. Due to safety regs, alot of cars have no access doors in trunk or under back seat.
