How can I repair the connection for cruise control cable to throtle.

Asked by Hoppsing Nov 30, 2014 at 06:47 PM about the 1985 Ford Thunderbird Elan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The cable connection to the throtle has broken and I can't find the missing part. It
appears to have been a plastic type connection. I have no idea what it looks like and
can't find a replacement.

I would go to the Ford dealer parts dept and see if you can see the parts breakdown. It may be possible to just order the missing part. You can try some of the used Bird parts houses advertised on Google. Try them all.
