Where does the 2013 Highlander Limited front/A column, sunroof drain tubes come out at bottom vehicle - pictures??

Asked by Guru1G29 Apr 24, 2017 at 08:44 AM about the 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited V6 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have run heavy, weed eater line down tubes (8 plus feet in length).  Water
drains from bottom of vehicle on both sides.  But, I am still getting water on
floor of driver side of vehicle.  Where does the tube exit the vehicle on the A
column?  Does anyone have technical drawings of exit areas/pictures?

Only want to use light compressed air to clean those tubes. They only have small clamps that hold the tubes together and to the moonroof pan. May have knocked a tube loose or damaged one.

Have you ever found an answer to your issue GUru1G29? I have this problem and they keep telling me its a clogged sun roof tube (every 2 months), but I disagree.

It isn't a clogged drain line, it is the "holding" area at the bottom that clogs up and makes water run into the floor area resulting in stinky, musty carpet. It is a horrible design and Toyota has to know about it yet they will do nothing to help the 1,000s and 1,000s of screwed Toyota owners. Kind of like their refusal to do anything about peeling "premium" paint. Good for you Toyota, you have chased off a family that has owned Toyotas for 30+ years.
