Is a 2013 Toyoto Highlander Limited adequate to tow a 3500 lb traler?

I am looking at vehicles that I can use on occasion to tow a 3500lb. Would a Toyoto Highlander Limited 6 cylinder AWD be a good vehicle for this purpose. I prefer not to move up to a truck based vehicle if possible.

All of the 2013 V6 Highlanders come with what used to be the pre tow package - heavy duty radiator with engine oil cooler, 200 watt fan coupling and supplemental transmission oil cooler, giving it a 5000 lb towing capacity.
