Putting in a new engine

Asked by Truckster210 Jan 08, 2017 at 08:33 PM about the 2013 Ford F-150 XLT

Question type: Car Customization

I'm thinking and wanting to know how much would
it cost in total and what is needed to upgrade from
a V6 to a V8 on a 2013 f150

It would be very difficult due to all the electronics involved and thus not a practical solution. Do you now have the 3.5 EcoBoost or the standard non turbo V6? Trading the vehicle for another would be the appropriate move in this situation.

I agree with Bob, it would be a LOT more practical to swap vehicles than to swap a V6 to V8 engine, especially on such a new truck.
