I have a 1986 ford bronce water is in the oil and blowing steam out the tail pipe can the intake gasket cause this

It could but most likely a head gasket is what you need.

Engine a 2.8 V-6? or is this a full size Bronco?

It could be but if it has steam coming out of the tail pipe I'd say head gasket. Intake will give you steam but mostly out of the breather tube from the valve cover which could then go back into the intake I suppose and out the exhaust but you will need a new intake gasket either way so start there and if it looks ok then pull the heads. Should be a weekend job if your comfortable doing it. If not find a good mechanic.

yes it is your head gasket PS your gasket is letting coolant in to one or more piston
