84 bronco new battery and selinoid,when trying to turn over real sluggish wont turn over

It's almost never a solenoid. The best way to diagnose the concern is with a VAT40 - Check the Amperage draw from the starter, Voltage drop across the cable(s), and the state of the Battery (even if it is new). Or just throw a new starter at it.

yeah i agree with tracy i had the same issue with my bronco and i put a new starter in it and it works fine now i figured mine out by tapping the starter though.
