Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Wanting to do an engine swap or buy a
new engine currently running a 1987 22r
but it blew up. Any ideas?

Same here stick with what was in it. Those engines are really quite good if they are taken care of. Ther are a few 4X4 guys out by me that have put small block Chevys in their rigs, but they say it a fair amount of work.

Yeah it’s just odd how a 22r still costs $1000-3500 if you want brand new
