2004 Ford Ranger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My '04 Ranger doesn't start in the morning very
well. I have turn the key several times before it'll
run. If I let it sit throughout the day it has rough
(multiple turns of the key) starts. I've noticed the
smell of gas once it starts now. I've checked the
fuel pressure. If I understand it. My pressure should
be around 61lbs of pressure. It gets there but, once
I turn the engine off it starts dropping right away. In
less then 10 minutes it dropped from 61 down to
55. And, I went with my first recommendation and
changed the fuel filter...

I've narrowed it down to...
1: Fuel pump
2: Fuel injector
3: Fuel return valve
4: Fuel leak (I don't see any fuel on the ground
though)
