Should i be worried or can i just add transmission fluid now and continue forward..nothing seem to be wrong just idles a lil high but nothing else plz give me advice on what to do..thank you.

Add fluid and hope for the best but there must be a massive leak or the mechanic really screwed up. Is this a manual transmission?

Make sure the rubber o'ring gasket for dip stick tube is inserted.

My car is a standard car..it's not a manual transmission..why what is the difference..
