Winter tires

Looking at purchasing winter tires with rims. I live in a rural community 45 min north west
of Toronto. Snow pillowed roads, hard packed, some slush and ice conditions. Dealer
offering Pirelli winter ice tires and rims for $995.00

Living where I do in Idaho with some of the heavy winter storms we get I personally just run all seasons on my Subarus, the tires are good year round and with Subarus AWD they are just fine for anything that's ever been thrown at me.
