Does anyone know if the transmission in a 97 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 will bolt up to a 5.2 motor out of a 98 Caravan?

Swapping motors out of a 97 Dakota 4x4 using a motor out of a 98 Caravan and wanting to know if the transmission in the 97 Dakota will bolt up to the 98 motor out of the Caravan!

Dakota is rear wheel drive and Caravan is front wheel drive. We have no way of knowing whether that will work or not. Why would you even try a combination like that?
