i have a mini roadster but the drivers seat seems to be wet when ther is a downpour it is a convertible can you advise

lately my mini roadster drivers seat seem to be wet when bad weather it is a
convertible but the roof seems ok can u advose

the car is great in every way but it is just the last 3/4 weeks it is happening. never done it before had it for 3 years and never had any probs before bit of a head scratcher !!!! only done 24,000 miles we'll sort it out, ta anyway for your input !
