Top won't retract past sunroof

Asked by jokiefrank Aug 23, 2016 at 07:47 AM about the 2013 MINI Cooper Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A symbol comes up on dash that looks like a car with an open tailgate and a
suitcase above that - this flashes when i try to get the top down.  I have no
idea what this means and can not find in any manuals   2013 cooper

The small shelf in back has to make contact on driver side at end of leg and the latch has to also make contact with switch. There is a video on YouTube about this
