Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 98 stratus makes a metal on
metal loud noise when you turn while
driving is this ball joints, cv axle, or
wheel bearing?    Its from the left
front.  It also does whe you hit a
bump hard
Any ideas

Jack your car up. Grab the tire on both sides and try to move it back and fourth. If it moves look to have your bearings replaced. if when you break and it pulls to the left and accelerate and goes to the right, then odds are it's the ball joint on your control arm. CV axle shouldn't make any kind of scraping noise.
