Front Brakes

I change out the pads ( at 33K miles) but still hear a heavy grinding noise
when I brake. I did not turn rotors. Do you think the Rotors are glazed over?
They factory pads I hear are partially ceramic. Never did like the ceramics as
they run hot.

Heavy grinding is not good. I have seen people install pads with the metal side against the disk so make sure the pads are installed correctly. Grinding could be from bad wheel bearings as well. Be safe and take it to a brake shop if you can't fix it yourself.
after the brakes are used, applied a few times they will seat in better..if the rotor is OUT OF ROUND?WARPED thats a ditterent story...as full of said check and repck the wheel bearings and or replace...
You needed brakes on a 2013? At 33k miles Do you have a habit of resting your foot on pedal? Something is wrong to begin with. The rotors, as Kelly said, are probably warped or scorched. I saw from your other question that you did the job yourself... did the rotors have blue streaks? My 2006 has original brakes and still a lot of life left. And your car is barely 3 years old. You have a basic warranty of 3 years/36,000 but they will try to weasel out on brakes.
