Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car started to overheat... Changed
thermostat. Then thought to listen for
radiator fan to kick on and it doesn't.
Checked all fuses/relays and changed.

The resistor in the new fan Assembly
started to smoke... I'm scratching my head
as to what to do now.... Any help!?

Figured it out... Auto part store sold us the wrong relay! Changed out and fan is working as it should.
