Is it a 65 or 66?

My Mustang states on the title that it is a 1965(florida) but the vin on the driver
side fender starts with a 6.  Is it possible to have a 65 with vin dating it as a 66?
The grill is a 65 style though the speedometer is round as are the gauges.

I think you have a 66 that has some 65 parts. Get a Marti report to know more about your car.

thank you but unfortunately no Marti report available for 65 or 66 Mustangs. But I thinking you may be right but so hard to tell apart, grill is 65, gas cap 65 dash can be 65 or 66.

thanks for your reply, the data plate is missing, so no info there. Is there any other hidden areas that may have the vin? the only vin I can find is drivers side under the hood.
