99' Doge intrepid 2.7L

Asked by Aug 08, 2017 at 10:39 PM about the 1999 Dodge Intrepid 4 Dr ES Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'll spare the long drawn out version, my truck was
set on fire "arson" bought my landlords husbands
intrepid for like $200, his son ran the dog shit out of
it, got another car and let it sit in the back yard for
roughly 2+ years with no maintenance. His dad the
original owner said it needed headgaskets so I took
it to a guy he said he could do it so he gets it done.
So after I got it back it still overheated I replaced
the thermostat flushed the cooling system still
overheated, and i can see white smoke from the
exhaust I'm thinking cracked head, warped head??
Anyone more mechanically inclined know what's
