is a high octaine gas harmful to a 2013 ram 1500 5.7 hemi
Why, it won't do anything except drain your wallet.
Racing fuel might be leaded so don't use that if it is.
If it's 98 to 100 octane, it won't contain lead, the 110 octane would have the lead in it. It would only make sense if you had a high-compression engine, if your engine is 10:1 or so you would have to advance the timing to get any benefit from using racing fuel (@ 6.50/gal BTW) , but you have variable valve timing which is controlled by the PCM, so you would need that to be replaced by a tuned PCM. A lot of spending for so little gain.
