My tire pressure light was on this AM when I got to work, I checked the pressure and everything was ok. Someone told me that cold weather could be the reason. Is this ture?

the reason is the air in the tires contracts when it gets cold......less presure. you may get the light in the spring also

That light isn't supposed to come on unless there's a significant difference in tire pressures. Not just a couple of pounds. You may have a sensor that has a low battery. If it's under warranty, I'd get it looked at by the dealer.
