Power Steering Rack Lines

Asked by tbpilot Aug 12, 2011 at 10:50 PM about the 2000 Dodge Stratus SE Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On the power steering rack there are two metal lines. One running from the midpoint of the rack to one end and one from one end to the other. Does anyone know where to find replacements for these lines? They have rusted out and are leaking on my 2000 Stratus.

theyre called crossover lines, your local auto parts store with luck will have them. if not measure the length of them and find out the diameter of them, get some fittings and some same diameter brake line and make your own.
