1950s Cadillac Air Cleaner

I bought a 1950s Cadillac air cleaner similar to the
one pictured. How can I tell if it is original or a
reproduction?

Compare it to a reproduction. If the reproduction is exact you may not be able to tell but an old one should have signs or age.

Thanks F_O_R! It is metal (not fiberglass) and shows some age, but is in very good condition. I compared it to a reproduction metal one and the only difference I noted was that the reproduction one had spot welds that are not on mine. I wondered if there might be a part number somewhere on original ones, but couldn’t see any numbers anywhere on it.
