when I am driving my 2000 dodge neon its good but when i hit over 50mph it seems like my fuel shuts off and on,one told me maybe its your fuel filter don't know if it has one.

yeah check the usual things like air filter, fuel filter/regulator, could also be a clogged catalytic converter
