The ABS warning light has gone on before. It is orange/amber and reads ABS with a LOGO. This is simply a red circle the size of a pencil eraser tip over and to the right of the fuel gauge and I am mystified...

When did you first notice the red dot light? He says that some times, the system malfunctions and blocks the car from starting. You don't mention having that problem, he says to try this: Put one key in the ignition, turn to on but do not crank it, the red light should go out in 15-20 seconds; if it stays on do the same using a second key if you have one. Sentry key safety mechanism that detects the chip in the key. I'm gonna try the 15 to 20 second trick though because I'm having this same problem and didn't know about it until now

So my car is doing the same thing. But I cant imagine that the light is the security mechanism sense it's coming on after driving it for 30 minutes or so
