Put in new starter but still no crank

There may be a relay , you need a multi tester to see if power is getting to the solenoid when you hit the key then work your way back to the ignition switch ,, you can test the starter wire too ( the big one ) for 12 volts , there's a chance the new starter is bad , you have to do diagnosis ,
