What do I do if a recall remedy isn't successful?

Asked by Feb 13, 2017 at 06:58 AM about the 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently had a recall addressed at a Nissan dealership, it
was on my 13' altima s. The recall was for reprogramming
the occupant classification system. Obviously the system
isn't detecting weight correctly & after nissan supposedly
"fixed" the problem, I had a passenger in my vehicle & the
airbag turned off because it wasn't detecting his correct
weight! What do I do?

Take it back for the recall and tell them it is not fixed.

Thanks. I'm afraid they'll tell me is fixed when I've got proof is not! I've seen that nissan has recalled this issue several times & yet no successful remedy.

I know it can be hard to deal with with the dealership, but if it aint fixed, they have to look at it.
