Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Old belt came completely off...or was gone...got a new
serpentine belt and got it on...but as soon as I start my car...it

It might be an idler wheel that is worn or loose and no longer properly aligned.

Bad tensioner, idler or harmonic balancer. Most likely the tensioner spring is bad or the bearing is bad.
