I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus and when turning on my car it
takes about 20 to 25 turns then it will start but once it is
started it wants to sounds like it wants to die when I push
on the gas pedal it wants to die when I let go of the gas
pedal it idles for a little while but wants to die I hear back
firing in the air filter area what could be wrong also a
couple times my car is shut off on the freeway once car
does start it allows me to put it in drive but I'm only able to
go 510 miles per hour and it buckles like it goes slow
sounding like it wants to turn off

I would check the fuel pressure. That starting issue and back firing sounds like a fuel pressure regulator
