2001 dodge intrepid radio problem

the radio in my intrepid stopped working.The bass,treble and balance knobs blink on and off on the tips.The cd player will come on but I have nothing on the radio.The screen is blank.no volume or able to turn anything else on

No only one fuse,but from what you said there is power to it,but there is some kind of short within it,

If I disconnect the battery for 5 mins it will work for a couple of days
