Do I need to replace oil pump

Asked by Bulldog6177 Jan 16, 2016 at 04:13 PM about the 2001 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2001 Durango rolled it into water. Removed spark plugs hand cranked water
out. Got truck running but no oil pressure. Anything I can try?

Just because your indicator says you have no oil pressure does not mean there is no pressure. You could have damaged the wiring. If it truly has no oil pressure there will be all kind's of knocks and tics. Can you tell me which sou d's more like your situatiin?
