cd player

Asked by GuruWJMV7 Jun 04, 2018 at 07:17 AM about the 2013 BMW X3 xDrive28i AWD

Question type: General

Just bought a used vehicle.  There is no store in car option when loading a cd so I cannot load multiple cds.  What is missing?

This model only has a single cd player. If equiped with the “BMW business” stereo system, then you have an internal hard drive that you can upload your own music to. In order to do that, you have to connect an USB stick with your music to the USB port in the gloves compartment, then go to the “media” function on the radio and upload it. Sounds complicated, but it’s pretty intuitive when doing it. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Actually, if you have the system with the hard drive, you should be able to save music from CD’s as well. If you don’t have this option, you probably don’t have the HD.
