MPG drop and hesitation

This issue started a few months ago shortly after coming home from
Charlotte NC, I live in South Carolina on the Georgia border. This was
around 10/17.I took it to the dealer I bought the car from and they could not
find anything. I had just broke 30,000 miles at the time and I found that it
was time for plugs and an air filter so I changed those out on 11/20 before
another trip to Charlotte NC. My MPGs was about 5 less this trip then it was
the last one. Also every trip to and from work is about 5 mpg lower then
normal. I know winter gas can lower the MPG but it has not in past years. I
tend to stop using my AC round the same time the winter gas is put out so I
think that balances my MPGs. Putting in new plugs and air filter has not
helped. I have also checked the fuses and my hoses to make sure I didn't
have any leaks. When I go up hills I can feel the loss of power and a lot of
hesitation. I have a mopar 13 version of the dart. I tend to do about 80 (10
over the speed limit) every day to and from work. The way I drive has not
changed. I did run seafoam gas treatment through the car with my 2nd
charlotte trip to see if that would help. It did not. Here’s something that I
found out recently. It finally started getting cold here last week. Last
Monday Tuesday and Wednesday it was in the high 20's low 30's in the am
and would warm up through the day, then Thursday and Friday was in the
40's. Anyway long story short on the cold mornings my MPG's were back to
where they should be(around 30) Thursday and Friday they were back
down into the 25 MPG range so I thought it was a fluke. Also when my
MPGs are low my car also hesitates a lot more than it does when the
weather is cold. This morning it was 29 outside when i left the house and
my MPGs coming to work today was 30.5...so after all that does anybody
know why would my MPG's go up when it’s cold? I am so tired of my car
running bad that I am trying this website, I have posted in a dart forum with
no help, I have also taken it to a 2nd dealer who did a few system updates
but that did not help either. Since its not throwing any codes they are no
able to find anything. IS there anything else that i can check or have
checked at another dealership? Would the Fuel filter or ECM anything that
comes to mind that will drop the MPGs that much?

It seams the hesitation is still there when the weather warms up but goes away when it gets old, i still have not gotten an answer about this, trying to bump it to see if anybody can help, thanks

I am having same problems..no codes. I think it might be coils, but been told its wear on the clutch..I have 65,000 miles, it dropped from 38'41 to 31 on hwy mpg's. They tell me its normal. No car drops like that! I have 2015 Dart Aero Turbo multiaire.

I had a mopar 13 edition, number 61, i was getting sick of bringing it in and being told nothing was wrong with it, so i traded it in about 18 months ago, hated to do it but it was time

Mine is doing same thing..changed the plugs, still hesitating, went from 38-41 to 30-32 mpg in summer..just made a drastic drop. Dealership told me its because its hot outside? I have drove it for 3 years, just started dropping! Now its slipping out of regular drive to low drive on interstate, and smelling rubber. I think its the clutch. Mine is a 2015 Dodge Dart Aero Turbo automatic. Taking it in tomorrow

What am i suppose to do..only drive it when its cold? Really dumb of them to tell me that!

I have a 2013 dodge dart 1.4T rallye and it had the same issue. At first I thought it was an exhaust leak or a bad coil or an injector. This morning I got the idea to check the hoses that run to my intake sensors. I found out that my couplers were loose after I tightened them and snugged up my intake hoses I lost my hesitation and my backfiring. I have a K&N Cold Air Intake. Not saying it is that problem but that's where I would start.
