Will a tire pressure sensor going bad cause your
check engine light and the ABS light to come on
also?

No, just the TPMS light. Usually when an ABS and CEL is on, it is an ABD wheels sensor issue. Either the sensor or wiring. Scan for the codes with a OBDii code reader that can read ABS codes.
