I have seen a lot of people trying to diagnose their engine shut off on a dodge Dakota. I had my computer rebuilt and I changed the crankshaft position sensor. These are a few things that I read online. I did not want to throw any more money at this truck so to save money I have posted this. If you are experiencing Your truck shutting off and you've replaced parts stop. If you can get the truck to run Wiggle the wiring harness in the engine compartment everywhere because somewhere there is a wire causing this problem. Peelback all of the plastic insulation and tear off all the tape find the wire causing the problem. Repair it and put it all back together

Don't just keep throwing parts at the truck and throwing the money away. Do this first. I am posting this because I had very little help online with my 2.5L Dakota
