I've had the automatic trans seal replaced 3 times in the last few years. Most recently about 8 months ago. Why does it seem to keep leaking there? Is there something else that should be fixed?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Answer - There is probably a pilot bushing
that is worn, always a reason for a leak.
My next question is-
Even for an automatic transmission? My car
has an automatic transmission. I've only
heard of those in manual transmissions.

U-joints are another cause, something allowing the input shaft to wobble..
