Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2002 dodge stratus r/t, reverse lights don't work.  Bulbs seem fine, heard it could be bad sensor or relay?  If so, where is this located?

it could be a fuse but have you checked the inside of the connecters that the bulbs go into. because there is a such of thing as contact cleaner that will give you a better connection if you spray it on there and leave it set for about ten minutes. this might be the problem and if not the fuse that is probly blown is located right under the steering wheel on the left hand side of the car. there should be a cover on the fuse box that explains which one is for the tail lights. This fuse could also be tied in with other things.

There should be a switch on the transmission that closes when in reverse.
