TRYING TO FIND MY FACTORY KEY CODE. DIDN'T GET ONE WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR.
I OPENED THE TRUNK LID AND FOUND SIX NUMBERS PRESSED INTO THE LID. ARE THESE THE NUMBERS I AM LOOKING FOR? THANKS
no they are not. they factory keycode should have been written down on the pre-delivery sheet or on the original repair order. are you looking for the keyless entry code? that also should have been written down on the original repair order from the dealership. if you bought it from a dealer then you can take it back there and they can tell you what it is.
christian is correct only the dealer can tell you what it is if you cant find it. It is a 5 digit code so he is also correct in telling you the 6 numbers you found are not it. they have to use use the factory scan tool to retrieve it electronically. once you know what it is they can also show you how to change it to what you want.
If you have a Microsoft Sync Touch, you can program your code directly thru it.
