I am getting a P0340 Cam Positioning Sensor error

I am getting a P0340 Cam Positioning Sensor error but the car still runs well and is not
missing.  what else could it be? I just replace the timing belt

I would replace the Cam sensor if you haven't already. Even though it seems like the engine is running ok, the sensor could still be bad. The engine will not run as efficient if this sensor is out of range.
