There is no apparent way to open the rear hatch on my 2013 Ford Explorer from the inside.

Asked by grundoon Aug 25, 2015 at 03:13 AM about the 2013 Ford Explorer Limited 4WD

Question type: General

There is a little panel at the bottom inside of the hatch in the location of where the  latching mechanism is that looks like a punch-out panel. Could it be that there is a manual releasing handle or something behind that for emergencies or owner optional use?

Try to open it if you can and see if that's the case..
