My 2013 ford edge will not start.

I had new carpet installed in my car.  Seats was removed and put back in.  As
log as I had my key fob in my purse it would start.  Now I have to put the key
fob in the console  for it to start.  What could have caused this?

Replace the battery in the FOB first before going any further.

My Ford Edge 2013 did not start till I pulled one spark plug wire than it started . What's the problem?
